ED Brown Texas Edition This is an extremely fine Ed Brown 45 ACP 1911 known as “The Texas Edition 1911” and is a tribute to the rich Texas history and was made in 2018 in a very limited production. This Very Custom Ed Brown has a 5" Government model slide and a single stack Government 1911 frame. The pistol is chambered in 45ACP and is all stainless featuring the unique and highly durable Chainlink III metal treatment on forestrap and mainspring housing for a secure grip, even in severe applications. Traditional, square cut rear cocking serrations beautifully frame the engraving on each side of the slide, with the outline of the Alamo with the year of its independence from Mexico on the left, and the outline of Texas on the right with the year of its union, 1845. "Texas Edition" is engraved on left side of slide and each pistol carried a Custom serial number beginning with prefix "TX". The Gonzales flag and the Texas flag adorn each side of the magazine. The pistol is fitted with Fixed three dot Night Sights and Black Sand G10 grips with star engraving finish off the package. The Special Texas Edition Pistol comes in the original Ed Brown case with 45 wrench, padlock, oil and operation’s manual. Condition is AS NEW. In this condition, this Custom Texas Edition is a find for any collector and is a must for any Texas collector. Nothing like an Ed Brown 1911 which is renowned for quality and workmanship.
