300 Holland & Holland H&H 180gr Remington Kleenbore Match Ammunition
180gr Taper Heel Metal Case Bullet
Style / model 7730 (77 is load type, 30 is caliber)
60 rounds, three boxes, in original boxes, 20 rounds in each box.
1946-1960 manufacture, no "child" warning.
Boxes are worn from shelf wear, some missing end flaps, but pretty good condition so would assume later in the production toward 1960.
Two boxes have old tape w price on it (trying not to cry...) for looks like $6.50.
Cases are factory loads, annealed at the neck with light corrosion on the brass.
My understanding these were made for competition use, one of the plants that made military match ammo produced them.
The 300 H&H was the leading long-distance cartridge for many years until the "modern" non-belted magnums and non-magnum high-efficiency calibers and loads came about.
I bought a mixed batch of old ammo to shoot and reload, some had been stored really humid and weren't shootable or reloadable, but these are the best shape of the bunch and figured I'd see if anyone can put them to better use as I am not a dedicated precision shooter, I just like to shoot my dad's old 1959 rifle and this ammo is supposed to be cream of the crop - at least back in the day. I've never seen any annealed ammo that wasn't military surplus, but my ammo historical knowledge isn't that deep.
Like I said, if they don't sell I'm going to shoot them and reload the cases.
