This listing is for the Sako Model Riihimaki rifle shown. Caliber is .222 Remington. The rifle is a varmint variation with a 24" heavy barrel, a wide forearm stock and a detachable magazine. The overall condition is very good. The blued metal finish on the barrel is in good to very good condition showing light muzzle wear with some scattered scratches and rub marks. The blued metal finish on the receiver is in very good to excellent condition showing little wear. The trigger guard and floor plate show light edge wear and scratches. The checkered walnut stock with a wide forearm is in very good condition showing a few scattered light dings and scratches, mostly on the right side. Deteriorating non-factory brown rubber recoil pad. The bore is excellent, clean with strong rifling. The action works fine. Includes a Weaver fixed power scope in Stith mounts and a leather sling. The mounts appear to be the correct type for the tapered Sako pads. Overall, a very nice Sako Riihimaki rifle with the desirable heavy barrel.
