For sale only. 98 Mauser, 257 Roberts. This rifle is a fine example of a post WWII conversion to a sporting rifle that has some modern updates. The work was done by H. H. Nagel, out of San Antonio, and was likely done in the 1950s. The shop is still open and they confirmed the rifle and original owner did the work.
The rifle has the "dirty bird" stamp on the receiver, the stock is in excellent condition and has African ebony tip and grip cap. Leupold 30mm rings, scope safety(that works correctly), Timney trigger, and threaded 1/2x28 for supressor use.
Will include 2 boxes of Remington 117gr Corelok.
The scope is not included and no longer on the rifle.
I've been holding onto this due to the history associated with it. However, I have duplicates and it's time for it to go.
Will not ship, will drive 30 minutes from Waco to meet up, buyer must have TX DL.
